First introduction mail from Kansas

I am
enclosing the 25 letters of introduction that we have ready. Your
students can pick and choose partners from our students if they
would like to choose. They can send them in care of my account but
please put the name of the student on the subject line. That way I
can print out the message and hand it that student.
Yes,
we have many pictures that we can send. After partners are picked,
we can also send our school pictures.
That is okay about just having a small project
this year. We will see how it goes and yes, maybe you will want to
continue with our school next year. I've participated in this
venture for several years now. The students get as much out of it
as they put into it. It can be a wonderful learning experience if
the student puts effort into their emailing. Some of my students
are great and some not so great. We will just see how each one
works with this project. My students look forward to their emails
but we stopped letting them have their own accounts because some
students abused this freedom.
If we keep
this up all year, by the end you will have learned quite alot
about the USA and Kansas! We in turn, will learn so much about
your country. We don't worry about grammar or spelling. You folks
are so far ahead of us by knowing more languages than your native
tongue. Here in America, many Americans have very poor English
skills. We envy you for speaking more than one language!
